MELANIE CASSINO

Melanie brings a lively, passionate approach to every project, event, and relationship. She builds creative, curated social media strategies while bringing brand stories to life with her creative direction, development of photography and videography, expert copywriting and creative writing skills, and much more. She prides herself on her translatable skills and knowledge of most industries, from entertainment to hospitality to CPG to luxury to beauty to so much more. Melanie has a full-circle knowledge of social media, with over 6 years working as a social media and marketing manager for large to small businesses, and pairing her corporate experience with rich, freelance experience as a social media manager and content producer for 9 years. 

 

Melanie accomplished two undergraduate degrees at Hofstra University—a Bachelor's Degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a Bachelor's Degree in Television Production and Studies. Melanie received Honor's Associate status with Cum Laude, with accelerated MFA coursework completed as an undergraduate. Her supporting coursework and interest in Public Relations and Journalism gives her additional lenses in editorial publication, client relations, and media production. Her background fueled her expansive knowledge, passion, and skills, from expert video editing on platforms from Avid Media Editor to the Adobe Suite to television writing to creative writing to acting to full circle video production.

When Melanie's not creating powerful marketing campaigns, there is so much that she loves to do (sometimes too much). She loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dog, Finn, go shopping for uniquely fashionable pieces, explore new cuisines and restaurants, sip on craft cocktails, write fan fiction and short stories, develop scripts, play virtual games, and explore new worlds by diving into emotional television shows.
